YSL does an amazing job of mixing elegance with easy street style appeal. They do this very strategically by distorting the shapes and proportions of the silhouettes. I get chills when I look at this collection. YSL never seems to let me down. Now if I could only get my hand on some of these pieces...

Stop-action

I had so much fun with this mini photo shoot shot by my old roommate. I love having fun with things and seeing what happens. I am utterly exhausted from this week but it was probably the busiest I've been for a while...I need to recharge a little bit this weekend.

I saw the movie Nine and was completely inspired!

This movie is based on Fellini's life and the cinematography is absolutely beautiful. Awe inspiring!

Australia

I just came back from my trip to Australia.

I spent most of my time in Bondi soaking in the sun and checking out the beachwear style. I became completely enamored by the way Aussies' dress. So carefree....so effortless...


Cut to the grocery store... While we were looking for Kangaroo meat (have to admit it was good) I found this magazine.





I instantly fell in love with it. And of course Leighton Meester is on the cover that didn't hurt this mag. Also this was the first Cleo and designer collaboration issue featuring Alice McCall, who I love. 12 issues costs $69.95...my birthday is coming up soon...anyone wanna buy me this?
